Moldoviţa hut is a rectangular construction made up of a single room and a porch. The cellar is made of massive beams, split on a square base, ending in dovetail joints.

The carpentry craftsmen were extremely generous on ornaments: the side and front beams have zoomorphic elements (“the horse head” with double lobe), the colonettes are carved with geometrical motifs and the pillars with border on the pavilion little gate end in an anthropomorphic decoration (“the human head”).
