This type of dwelling is specific to all the eastern Slavic tribes in this period. Rectangular construction with construction pole: the lagged walls are made of wood logs placed horizontally in longitudinal ditches dug into the pillars horizontally. The ridged roof is made of wood logs and, in order to insulate the upper part, a thick layer of clay and wattle is applied. The floor is covered with clay. The entrance into the dwelling was covered with branches glued together with soil and grass. Inside the cellar, typical furniture is replicated: clay bed, stone stove, table, benches, shelved for plates and hanger for clothes.
